Dow AgroSciences continues to bring solutions to help growers get more yield from every acre. Recently, the company received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registration for expanded use of Enlist Duo® herbicide. Pending state registrations, growers will be able to use Enlist Duo on Enlist™ cotton. Additionally, EPA expanded the existing registration of Enlist Duo for use in corn and soybeans to 19 additional states.
Dow AgroSciences developed Enlist Duo — a combination of glyphosate and new 2,4-D choline — to meet the needs of growers struggling with hard-to-control and resistant weeds. The Enlist weed control system allows growers to use multiple modes of action to target problem weeds in their fields.
For 2017, the Enlist cotton trait will be available exclusively in a number of high-yielding PhytoGen® brand varieties. This technology is stacked with Genuity® Roundup Ready® Flex and WideStrike® 3 Insect Protection to give growers season-long control of above-ground insects with industry-leading three-gene protection.
In addition, the EPA expanded the use of Enlist Duo on Enlist corn and Enlist™ soybeans to 19 additional states for a total of 34 states. Those states are:
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Once state registrations and import approvals are received, growers will be able to use this groundbreaking technology on corn, soybeans and cotton that contain the Enlist trait. See the state registration list for the current status of state registrations.
